Sony’s “Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs” casted it’s shadow over the competition this box office weekend.

The sequel voiced by Bill Hader and Anna Farris poured in an estimated 35 million toppling the original film‘s 30 million dollar open. With very few family oriented movies on the big screen right now Cloudy 2 should make a nice return on the 78 million Sony spent on making the film. Considering the Disappointment that was Smurfs Sony Films will take it gladly.
