Only two other films, both of which are by James Cameron – Avatar and Titanic – have made more money internationally than Furious 7.
Domestically Furious 7 topped all films with an estimated $18.3 million, A smash hit in the states, it’s been even bigger abroad — particularly in China, where it’s set a record with $323 million.
The movie that’s set to topple the juggernaut that is Furious 7, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, was a (Hulk) smash overseas with a $201.2 million debut. The Avengers are already poised for a monster opening this coming weekend in the states, as Age of Ultron is already tracking close to double what it was doing in limited territories with the original film.

With Furious 7, and Age Of Ultron I think we can safely say the summer blockbuster is here,however, a few smaller films made some limited releases.
The Water Diviner, Russell Crowe‘s directorial debut, opened with $1.3 million. The critically acclaimed indie science-fiction drama Ex Machina (read our review here)in its second week of release and earned $5.4 million.
