They Look cute, but they are like drunk ferrets. You were warned.

This weekends Box Office wrap up features yet again another animated movie dominating the box office, and punking out another real live leading man in Johnny Depp (Brad feels your pain Johnny). It offered a mild surprise in Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain Which did amazingly well for a stand up comedy movie and exceeded all expectations.

Stop.. 17 million? No, seriously…

Despicable Me 2 had one of the best debuts ever for an animated movie, For the three-day period, Despicable Me 2 earned Through its first five days, Despicable Me 2 earned $143.1 million., which is on par with Toy story 3 141 million, earning it top 5 status for animated movies. It’s also way higher than the 2010 original’s $56.4 million opening. No doubt their ad campaign focusing on the minions, that made the first movie so lovable generated alot of hype for this film.

The Lone Ranger took in $48.7 million in the box office its first five days. Which isn’t bad, but considering this is Disney and the films budget of 200 mil. It is certainly a disappointment.  The lackluster reviews it has been receiving doesn’t bode well for the film.
