Coming Soon Trailers: Creed 2, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Robin Hood.
The holiday season could open with a bang as two big franchise sequels face off.
We’re a day early with our trailers as Hollywood takes advantage of the long holiday weekend. All three wide releases will premier on Wednesday this week, which could help push November’s box office to another record setting frame. Both Creed and Wreck-It Ralph had premiers around 50 million dollars for their first installments, so the two will likely be sparring for first place over the weekend. Robin Hood could play spoiler…or it could fall on its face like the similar King Arthur reboot did. While it is unlikely to dislodge the top contenders, Sony’s The Front Runner with Hugh Jackman is set to expand nationally on Friday.
With such a packed line-up at theaters, the rental market is understandably quiet. Just three new titles hit the VOD market today.
