Coming Soon Trailers: Darkest Minds, Christopher Robin, Spy Who Dumped Me.
Disney returns to the Hundred Acre Woods with Winnie the Pooh and friends this weekend in another live-action offering.
Having grown up on a steady diet of The Wonderful World of Disney on TV, I’m charmed to see the Mouse return to live-action features. Especially when those features are something original (original-ish?) and not another note for note remake of their vintage cartoons. Standing in Mickey’s way at the box office is the latest YA lit adaptation, The Darkest Minds. YA has lost its luster from the heyday of Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, so Darkest Minds is going to have to bring something new to the equation. Adult counter-programming comes care of Mila Kunis’ spy comedy, The Spy Who Dumped Me.
