Coming Soon Trailers
Not sure what to watch this weekend? Well here at Deluxe Video we sift through all the trailers of the upcoming movies and tell you what to watch and what to avoid. Because we care about your time, loyal reader…and perhaps because nothing is as much fun as righteous anger when a trailer fails to deliver the goods!
Much like the Ultimate comic series, F4 features younger versions of the this super group than their counterparts from the traditional F4 comics. So this is a much more contemporary reimagining of Marvel’s supergroup that get’s struck with life altering physical aberrations that they must use to protect earth from the nefarious Dr. Doom.
When to see it: Imax 3D. I understand that the previous F4 films may cause you to be hesitant to shell out the greenbacks, but I am willing to bet something near and dear to Neil that this will be the Fantastic Four we have been waiting for. The visuals alone should prove to be worth the price of admission.
Shaun The Sheep
When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets a little more action than he bargained for. A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan, and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it’s up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home.
When to see it: Theatres. But really depends on your taste of film. Sure it looks like a kiddie movie but there is so much more to it than just being a stop animation children’s show. This film is a nod to silent films of the past as it is dialogue free, and flexes its muscle in the mastery of non-verbal humor. Feature films like this are very rare, go out and support creativity!
The past comes back to haunt a successful yuppie and his perfect life in the form of an old school acquaintance. The mysterious man from the past starts leaving cryptic gifts for the unlucky couple, ultimately revealing a shocking crime from their shared history.
When to see it: Netflix. This story has been told numerous times before and as much as I enjoy Jason Bateman there’s not enough new here to pay money to see this. Go watch A Simple Plan instead to get your psychological thriller fix.
A documentary based on the cultural significance and perhaps the obsessive consumerism in the retail sneaker market. Yeah, it’s a movie.
When to see it: Stoned as fuck. Yeah, I can’t see any other way of enjoying this film unless you are a huge Run DMC fan, or one of those weird NIKE Air Jordan types..
