The Grinch is back…again. We also get a sci-fi WW2 thriller and the third attempt to establish The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo franchise.
It’s a grab bag weekend with Illumination Studios taking a break from Minions merchandising in order to rehash The Grinch in time for the holidays. We also get J.J. Abrams’ latest “maybe it’s a Cloverfield movie, maybe it’s not!” offering, Overlord, about a secret Nazi paranormal experiment and the rough and tough G.I.’s sent in to blow it up. Finally, we get another attempt at the Lisbeth Salander character from Stieg Larsoon’s best-selling millennium novels brought to the big screen. In case that doesn’t grab you, the VOD market has quite a bit of variety in the offing to start November.

Lisbeth Salander, the protagonist of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, is back to find justice and uncover conspiracies with the aid of journalist Mikael Blomkvist. Based on the book by David Lagercrantz that continues the Millennium series by Stieg Larsson.

An aging man, Giullio leaves his job as a lawyer to pursue his passions: poker and his lover Claudio. Despite the strain this places on his family, his grown daughter and her son support his decision.
