Furious 7 box office wrap up

Furious 7 stays strong topping the Box Office for a third consecutive week, taking in 29.4 million dollars. Reaching the 1 billion plateau faster than any film in history.Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 box office wrap up

The seventh installment in the Fast and Furious series is now fittingly the seventh highest grossing film globally, and still has legs enough to move even higher.

Deunfriended Box office wrap upspite the horrendous critical reception, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 has a decent showing with 24m, good enough for the number 2 spot this week. While it wont live up to the original films success, Blart 2 was only budgeted at 30m, so unfortunately we may yet see a Blart 3 yet.

Third this week is the cyber bullying horror, Unfriended with 16m. While it may be the largest opening for a new horror series since The Conjuring (41.8m), Horror films generally do not have any staying power in the box offfice. So depsite the positive reviews overall, I expect a significant drop off.
