What's New on Amazon Prime: September 2020.

Amazon keeps pace with Hulu, bringing out several big originals to match.

September is a huge month for Prime originals, especially compared to their normal volume of releases. We get another season of the surprise hit super hero series, The Boys, as well as another anticipated hit, Utopia. In addition, several Amazon original movies land, quite the rare occurrence this summer.

Much of the category of classic films matches Hulu beat for beat. The edge for Amazon right now comes from its aggressive strategy of TV partnerships for a flood of new seasons at the start of the month. Hulu may have bigger names via The Good Place or Rick and Morty, but Amazon has got sheer volume.
