What's New on Hulu: February 2020.

Hulu doesn’t reinvent the wheel with Febrauary’s line-up, but offers a solid stable of films.

As is usually par for the course, Hulu’s offerings this month look like a well-fed version of Amazon’s February list. Most of the classic movies are the same, but with Hulu boasting a slightly bigger roster. I mean, Hulu’s got FIVE National Lampoon movies to Amazon’s TWO!

The gift that keeps arriving, un-asked for.

For originals, the routine remains largely the same as well. We get another iteration of the original Blumhouse horror series, Into the Dark. We also get two new series, a re-imagining of the book/movie High Fidelity starring Zoe Kravitz and Da’Vine Joy Randolph (who I’m still salty didn’t get an Oscar nomination for Dolemite is My Name!) and Utopia Falls.

New and Notable.

  • Into the Dark: My Valentine (Feb. 7) – pretty self explanatory at this point: a Valentine themed horror story.
  • High Fidelity (Feb. 14) – An exasperated single, music store owner (Zoe Kravitz) decides to revisit all of her all-time most memorable old flames.
  • Utopia Falls (Feb. 14) – 24 teens living on Earth’s last surviving exoplanet colony are selected to compete in a music contest. One contestant discovers suppressed records of the music from old Earth.
