What's New on Hulu: June 2020.

Hulu loads up June with recent hits and several new original series.

Hulu grabs up a ton of popular and award winning films from recent years. Starting with the Oscar nominated A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, to recent horror flicks like Child’s Play and Crawl, to excellent anthology series from indie directors such as XX, Hulu has an impressive line-up.

The Originals in June focus on new and popular series. Crossing Swords looks like a kid friendly pick…until you realize it’s from the people who did Robot Chicken. It stars Nicolas Hoult as a squire in a dysfunctional kingdom. Last month he was Emperor of Russia on Hulu, this month he’s a squire. Next month, he’s going to be shoveling out stables if he’s not careful.

New and Notable.

  • Crossing Swords (Jun. 12) From the producers of Robot Chicken, a young squire longs for knightly glory, but won’t find any in the tawdry and sex-crazed kingdom he grew up in.
  • Into the Dark: Good Boy (Jun. 12): A troubled woman adopts an emotional support dog. Unfortunately, the dog is a little too good at making people who upset her disappear.
  • Love, Victor (Jun. 19): a young boy tries to navigate a new town and school while also struggling with his sexuality and identity.
