What’s New on Hulu: March 2019.

Rumors of Hulu’s Disney-fueled demise are premature as the service aggressively adds titles this March.

Movie Review: Shoplifters.
Seriously.

Hulu releases three new original series this month, but really shines when it comes to all of the classic flicks joining the series.  Despite worries that the house of mouse would begin winding Hulu down as they ramp up to releasing their own streaming service, we see a really robust and varied line-up in March.  There’s even some fresh Disney products on the service.

For fans of recent fare, we’ve got several films fresh off of Oscar wins landing on Hulu, including possibly my favorite nominated film, Shoplifters.  Seriously, getting that gorgeous film for free from Hulu this month is worth the subscription fee ten times over.

What really impresses me is the breadth of offerings.  Most months Hulu and Amazon’s list of movies are nearly identical.  This month, Hulu has everything Amazon is offering, plus a ton more.  If you put a gun to my head and made me cancel every streaming service but one, Hulu would win hands down in March.  And here I was worried the service was on it’s last leg!

Catch up on last month’s Hulu offerings here.
