What's New on Netflix: March 2020.

Netflix spans the globe with international originals as well as the return of popular series.

Netflix opens March with a spate of homecooking: hits like Goodfellas, Hook, and The Shawshank Redemption. After that, it’s a jaunt across the globe: we get the return of series Babylon Berlin (Germany), Kingdom (South Korea), and The Protector (Turkey).

The service also loads up on their animated features. Castlevania returns for another season, as does The Boss Baby Back in Business, and the second part of the anime 7Seeds. Sprinkle in popular mainstays like Ozark and an Altered Carbon spin-off and you’ve got a busy March ahead of you.

New and Notable.

  • Lost Girls (Mar. 13): A woman looking for her missing daughter discovers a trail of murdered sex workers.
  • Altered Carbon: Resleeved (Mar. 19): This side-story, from the writer behind Anime mega-hit Cowboy Bebop, should sate fans of main series while giving a new aesthetic to the sci fi dystopia.

That certainly feels more Japanese than the main series.
  • Sol Levante (Mar. 23): A co-production with Production IG (Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex, Attack on Titan) this hand-drawn, 4K animated series looks gorgeous.
